What is the difference between “fee for service” visits and membership?
Fee for service visits are a pay as you go option for each office visit and virtual/phone consult. Please see our pricing information for more details. Membership is a monthly subscription for unlimited office and virtual visits and provides enhanced access to your provider.
If I decide to sign up for membership, do I still need health insurance?
Yes. The membership is for primary medical care services only.
You should keep major medical insurance or cost sharing plan that covers the costs of specialists, emergency care, or hospital care should they need those services.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not process insurance claims.
If you request it, we can provide you with a superbill which you can submit to your insurance company to see if they will cover the cost associated with your care. Please make sure to ask for this before or during your visit. We do not interface with insurance companies on a patient’s behalf so this is solely up to the client to process on their own.
My child receives Medicaid benefits, can I submit charges to Medicaid for reimbursement?
No. We are not covered by Medicaid or Medicare plans.
In order for claims to be covered by Medicaid or Medicare they must be submitted directly to the plan by a participating provider. The beneficiary MAY NOT submit any charges directly to Medicaid or Medicare for services provided by this practice.
What do I do if my child has a medical emergency?
Call 911 to access your local Emergency Medical Service or take your child to the nearest Emergency Department for evaluation and treatment.
